Eden Race Drive is delighted to announce that Lucca Allen will join the team in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, making it a five-strong roster in the series.
The 22-year-old from Cork in Ireland will compete in the Pro-Am category, alongside teammates Oliver White and Will Aspin, starting with this weekend’s races at Donington Park.
Lucca started karting at the age of nine, becoming Irish champion in 2016. He made his car racing debut the following year, with a partial season in the F4 British Championship, returning for a full campaign in 2018, where he also competed in F4 South East Asia.
Returning to the latter in 2019, he took the championship title with 12 victories as well as representing Team Ireland in the Formula 4 Cup at the FIA Motorsport Games. After stints in Super Formula Lights and Formula Regional Japan, Lucca switched to endurance racing, taking the 2022 Ultimate Cup Series Prototype Cup title, with several appearances in the Le Mans Cup in 2023.
Ready for a new challenge back closer to home, Lucca will make his debut behind the wheel of one of Eden Race Drive’s Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. The team has taken the series by storm in 2024, with three overall victories, a further five overall podiums, nine Pro-Am podiums, and currently leads the championship standings with Will Martin.
Both of Sunday’s races on the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit can be seen live on ITV4 and on ITVX and are scheduled to begin at 12:10 and 16:25 BST.
Lucca Allen
“I am delighted to be here with Eden Race Drive, as they’ve quickly shown themselves to be one of the top teams in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, and it’s nice to be back in a professional environment with good teammates. I’ve had a new sponsor come on board during this season, so when I heard there might be an opportunity to race with Dino, I had to give it a try.
“The philosophy of the championship is great, as it gives everyone a level playing field. You can see how close it is from the results, so I want to throw myself in with some of the best drivers and see what I can do. It’s great to be here and I am looking forward to the last few rounds of the season.”
Dino Zamparelli, Team Manager

Despite his young age, Lucca brings a wealth of experience from racing in different cars across the globe. This new opportunity poses a fresh challenge for him, and we are eager to see just what he can accomplish with us. Our team has enjoyed a successful season thus far, and it is incredibly rewarding to see talented drivers like Lucca wanting to be a part of our story.”
