Race Drive Motorsport is extremely happy to announce that Colin Tester is the second driver to be confirmed in its Porsche Club Motorsport line-up, competing in Class 1 in a Porsche 997 C2S.
A vastly experienced racer, coach, and Motorsport UK Grade A race instructor – including showing Valentino Rossi around Brands Hatch last year in one of MSV’s BMWs – Colin has been competing for more than 25 years and has driven many different varieties of cars in a wide range of series and events.
Founding his own company and race team, Supatune Motorsport, Colin first met Race Drive’s Dino Zamparelli through a client who had sponsored Dino’s Porsche Carrera Cup GB exploits. Working together on corporate days since then, the pair have helped numerous amateur and track day drivers hone their skills on track.
Most recently, Colin clinched the Class 2 Porsche Club Championship title behind the wheel of a Boxster S in 2022 and won the MSVT Supercup Class 2 in 2021, with successes dating right back more than a decade, including many in cars he built, prepared, and tuned himself.
Hoping to secure back-to-back championship titles in Porsche Club Motorsport, Colin and the rest of the Race Drive team will be hoping to start the year on form at Donington Park at the start of April, with the season drawing to a close at Snetterton in October.

“I know Dino through one of his Carrera Cup sponsors. Because I do a lot of coaching, I work for Porsche Club GB as a main instructor on their track days, which is where I met Hasi from Eden Private Staff. We got on really well, he liked how I coached, and he asked if I could attend a day at Silverstone which is when he mentioned Dino. That’s how we got to know each other, and it’s been going pretty well since then.
“I’ve got my own team, Supatune Motorsport, and we got involved in Porsche Boxster’s last season and I won the championship. Race Drive offered me the chance to race under their banner this coming season, in a Porsche 997 which will be prepared by them, and I will have a bit of input into it, competing in Class 1.
“The priority is to get people racing, to build the Race Drive brand at the club level and then move up to the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. Dino does a lot of coaching in the Carrera Cup, so he has good contacts there and I’m Race Drive’s specialist in the club scene. I’m really looking forward to competing in Class 1 this year and it would be a dream to win back-to-back championship titles!”
